Facts about the Tahoe and Reno Area:

This area is located in the Majestic Sierra Nevada Mountain Range and down the east slope and foothills of the mountains to the valleys. Reno, the largest city in the area, is located 135 miles northeast of Sacramento, a popular and beautiful two and a half hour drive over famous Donner Pass, in the majestic Sierra’s. It as only 231 miles from San Francisco, this trip takes just 50 minutes on one of the frequent commuter flights from Reno’s newly expanded airport - Tahoe International Airport. Reno is less than a 30 minute drive to Carson City, the State Capitol.
